For a veteran Congress man like Rosayya who most definitely would have seen many ups and downs in his long political career the developments in the past week and especially in the past two days might have been baffling to say the least. If it was bad enough to be cold shouldered by ministers it was downright embarrassing to be ignored by the babus of the civil supplies department also. In yesterday’s cabinet meeting ministers Raghuveera REddy and Jupalli Krishna Rao were not the only ones absconding. Even civil supplies commissioner Sanjay Jaju did not turn up and this was really embarrassing for the CM. The situation is no better in the irrigation and power departments. There was not even a semblance of activity in the vidyuth and jal bhavans. The entire bureaucratic wing is missing since their ministers themselves have not come to the office. Only the home department is functioning with any semblance of normalcy.
