Anyone who underestimates Konijeti Rosaiah does so at his/her own peril. This veteran leader is a dyed-in-the-wool Congressman who can time his actions to perfection. He waited for two weeks to let the major part of the political bickering blow over and is now putting his stamp of clean and no-nonsense governance on the state's administration. Yesterday's video conference saw a purposeful CM give out a command performance to the state collectors. “Pull up your socks” they were told. Seeds, money, water and power to famers, the CM reiterated was the state's top priority. Unlike in the past, the video conference was attended by 12 ministers. They were P Sabita Indra Reddy, Dharmana Prasad Rao, Anam Ramnarayan Reddy, V Vasanth Kumar, Shilpa Mohan Reddy, N Raghuveera Reddy, B Satyanarayana, J Geeta Reddy, P Viswarupu, D Nagender and Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and P Sudarshan Reddy. At the end of it all they could see who the boss was. He may neither have the charisma or flamboyance of Dr YSR, but he sure has the strategical depth and political experience to cross all the milestones marked out in YSR’s roadmap.
