Another incident of a stalker murdering in the name of love has come to light in Rajahmundry. Rajesh stabbed to death the parents of Anusha when they tried to prevent him from attacking their girl. Rajesh who was working as a courier boy in Rajahmundry was reportedly in love with 16-year old Anusha who was studying inter. When the girl refused his persistent advances, he had on many occasions threatened her that he would kill her and her parents. The worried parents once even lodged a complaint on the boy. He was in jail for 2 days and when he was released he came to Anusha’s house and stabbed her on the neck. When the girl’s mother flung herself between him and Anusha, she too was stabbed repeatedly. On hearing the commotion Anusha’s father came to the scene and tried to prevent Rajesh from killing his wife and daughter. In the process Rajesh stabbed him to death. A hapless Anusha , who herself was bleeding tried to rescue her parents by taking them to a hospital but they succumbed leaving her an orphan. It is time that the home ministry steps in and gets a process in place that will deter rapists, murderers and stalkers like Rajesh.
