Posted by Shanker Monday, September 14, 2009

Over the past few days, scores of people all over Andhra Pradesh have been expressing their support and solidarity to appoint Y.S. Jagan as the next CM. Political rallies, road blocks, signature campaigns, letters written with blood and even tonsured heads have all been making news. Recently the Tirupati Urban Development Authority (TUDA) chairman, Mr. Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy broke 10,116 coconuts at Alipiri, the foot hills of Tirumala Hills and prayed to Lord Venkateswara to make Jagan, the next CM of AP. He even announced that a temple would be built for YSR in Tirupathi.
Elsewhere, Vanamari Kishtapuram,a small village in Mundigonda mandal (Khammam District) is in the limelight. The villagers have built a temple for YSR at a cost of Rs.2 lakhs. Mallu Nandini, wife of chief whip, Mr Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka unveiled the statue of YSR. Sensing the delay to arrive at a final decision from party high command in New Delhi, Congress supporters and activists across the state are making all possible efforts to make their voices heard.
