Neha Dhupia is a tea addict and her mornings have to begin with a cup of chai. So imagine her plight when she had to spend a month in coffee-obsessed New York. Devoid of choice, she had to make do with black coffee. "Hotels and cafes in New York did not have the Indian masala chai. The black coffee that she used to have in New York did not satisfy her. But Neha was helpless,"says a friend.
The minute Neha returned to Mumbai, the first thing she did was to make herself a hot cup of her favourite chai. "The look of relief on her face had to be seen to be believed," says the friend.
Well, Neha will have to carry along a carton of India’s finest if she plans to continue her stint in Hollywood.She is currently starring in the Hollywood series Bollywood Hero.
