Home minister P Sabita Reddy said the State government would amend the existing legal provisions for arrest of perpetrators of violence against women under non-bailable sections.
The Minister, before leaving for Rajahmundry to console 17-year-old Anusha, who was grieviously injured by a stalker after he stabbed her parents to death on Thursday night, told mediapersons here that presently, case against the accused were now registered under IPC sections 506 and 509.
