It is ironical that YSR's most often used slogan of bringing back "Indiramma Rajyam" into AP is working against his own son Y S Jagan. According to sources close to Mrs. Gandhi, the AICC chief has decided that A P will no longer be a 1-man show. There actually is nothing new as this very same policy was followed by Mrs Indira Gandhi prior to the formation of the TDP. So, even though Y S Jagan will have a chance of becoming CM it is by now certain that he will not have a continuous 5-year stint. “From now on, Soniaji will not allow one person domination as that would adversely affect the interests of the party. No person will be allowed to rule the state for more than two years,” sources close to Ahmed Patel, political secretary to Sonia, said. “In the present circumstances, the YSR legacy has to be maintained. Therefore, Jagan will be rehabilitated. K Rosaiah will continue as the chief minister for the time being.
