Gopichand starrer Sankham ran into financial issues a day before the release of the film. All the financiers and distributors sorted out their issues and an understanding was arrived at by 5.00 am this morning and the prints were delivered except for Ceded territory, this lead to an altercation between the lab authorities and the frustrated Ceded theatre owners who have been waiting outside the lab for over 24 hours and the scene turned ugly. As of 9.00 am the prints had not been delivered.
This sort of sad scenes on the day of release of a film is an indication that the industry is slipping into recession which the industry bigwigs need to take note of this and resort to corrective measures as soon as possible.
