It is known that N Shankar, the director of films like Jayam Manadera, is planning to launch a film set in Telangana, in the first week of May. The news is that the film will have the characters of K Chandrasekhar Rao, a political stalwart of the T-movement and K Rosaiah, the Chief Minister, playing real-life roles.
It is speculated that the character of KCR is important in the movie. As the director hails from the T region, his supporters, especially those outside the industry, believe that he will be able to make a good film on the pro-T film.
Only recently, some activists staged a dharna in front of a Film Nagar building, demanding that N Shankar be given a very important post in a film body.
It seems that with the film, the director is sure to gain more fame in the region.
